Season 3
Season Third:-The third season of its always sunny in philadelphia tv show was aired in 2007 and this season had fifteen episodes, five more than the previous one and that is one sign of the shows success. The third season begins with revelations. Charlie comes to know that Frank is his real father and that his mother tried to abort him but he survived it. Dee and Mac found a child in dumpster and decide to raise the child but soon decide that it is not their cup of tea. Dennis on the other hand joins an environmentalist group but his true intentions are soon revealed. Dennis and Dee’s mother Barbara dies in this season. Dee and Frank are very upset that Barbara doesn’t leave them anything and Dennis gets a mansion, which he plans to use for business purpose, turning it into a party pad. After the death of his wife Frank is now looking for his will.
Dee meets a friend from high school and is surprised to see that she has become a fashion designer. The angry gang again gets into a fight when a Korean restaurant owner threatens to get them kicked off the route for the city’s annual pub crawl. The gang then sells off the Paddy’s to an impeccable offer, leaving the two members of the group, Dee and Charlie, jobless. Mac then joins up Frank and Charlie in order to be famous. Dee and Dennis are trying their luck at the club. Dee gets involved with a mentally retarded, local rapper, but his suggestion helps the whole of the gang. The gang decides to start a band. Frank takes Charlie to be a serial killer but is obviously proved wrong in the end. The main attraction of this season was the gang dealing with the drugs, which is one addiction much prevalent among the youth. The gang tries to sell drugs that they stole unknowingly from the mob in order to get money from them. Dennis gets himself into this new world of male escorts, where his entry gets difficult when Frank keeps a close eye on him. The season ends with Paddy at stake. Charlie accidentally puts Paddy at risk with dance marathon. The whole gang then joins together to win Paddy back and get ready for the competition putting their souls into it.
