Season 1
Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia till date has completed three seasons and is currently running into its fourth season. The first season of the series was aired in 2005 and had seven episodes in it.
Season 1:-The season opens with the introduction to all major characters of the series. The four friends Mac, Charlie, Dennis and his sister Dee are introduced to us. The four together run an Irish bar under the name Paddy’s. But, to their surprise their bar does not appeal to people and the guys notice that their, this business is even bad as compared to their previous one. Now, they have to think of some business strategies to make their bar a success. Dee, then, in order to improve the business of the bar gets a friend of her’s, Terrell, who is an actor to promote their bar. On the other hand, Mac and Charlie make an attempt to prove that they are not racists. Many other important issues such as abortion and underage drinking are brought up in the next episodes of the season. Charlie meets a girl from the past who reveals that she has had a child with him. In order to meet a girl Dennis takes the help of abortion rally.
Guys take it up to themselves to make drinking legal. Dee on the other hand starts dating a guy from high school. The next important development in the plot is when the guys find out that Charlie has got cancer and they all start looking for him. Next the bar’s safe gets stolen and Dennis and Mac decide to buy a gun and they take it in their hands to find out about the thief as they are totally convinced that the police id doing nothing about their case. The gang then gets a chance to be friendly to a patron whom they find dead in the bar. They do all this simply to impress the patron’s granddaughter. In the last episode of the first season, we see friends helping each other. When they see Charlie behaving in a strange manner to the news of their former elementary school gym teacher being molested, they come to the conclusion that Charlie himself has been a victim of molestation. They then decide to help their friend by taking revenge on the culprit. The first season ends with the friends helping each other.
