The actress has joined the cast of the romantic comedy movie, Leap Year. She will be seen in a supporting role in the movie which will be starring Amy Adams, Bill Nighy, Matthew Goode and Adam Scott.

This movie is about an American woman played by Amy Adams, who sets out to search for her boyfriend in Ireland. She intends to propose to him on 29^th February, the leap day, so that he can not reject her as per tradition. However, the weather, forces her to change plans and she has to take the help of an Irish innkeeper played by Matthew Goode, to fulfill her plans.

Olson will be seen portraying the role of the married elder sibling of Amy Adam’s character. This is not the first time that Olson is going to appear in a movie, as she has been seen in movies earlier as well. She did a few films at the start of her acting career where she played minor roles. However, she took a break from her film career and did not do any movies from 2003 to 2008.

However, after the long gap, Olson will be seen in the movie Weather Girl which is supposed to be released on 10^th July, 2009. The movie will be titled Crazy Eddie, after the now bankrupt electronics chain and the scripting for the same will be done by Peter Steinfield. The electronics man, whom any television viewer from the ’80s should remember, has a whole back-story of his own. Reportedly, the pioneer of discount electronics had been falsifying company records to increase his stock’s value. However, a hostile takeover not only cost Eddie his company, but he was also forced to flee to Israel. The electronics king was later extradited and ended up serving six years of imprisonment after being charged with committing fraud. Reportedly, the man is now himself assisting, writer Peter Steinfield, in writing the script for Danny’s Crazy Eddie. What inspired Danny to make a film about a fraudulent ex-convict is something that has been mesmerizing the friends and co-actors of the brilliant actor who has proved his talent once again in Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia. But one thing is definitely sure, if Danny is at the helm of the affairs, the flick is definitely going to be worth a watch.

Well, I am already looking forward to the movie. I have loved Danny as Frank Reynolds in Its always Sunny in Philadelphia, which is currently airing its Season 4. He has definitely come across as a man of enormous talent. In fact, I started watching the show only because I loved Kaitlin Olson who plays the role of Frank’s daughter, Dee Reynolds on the show. However, I soon started appreciating all the cast members and especially Danny who made my experience of watching Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia, quite awesome. I have been completely bowled over by the actor and to appreciate his talent more I have just started watching some of his earlier shows and movies. I have really found him to be one of the most underrated actors of today and I sincerely feel that the great man surely deserves much more than what he has been getting!

I have always liked Danny on the comedy show ‘Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia’ and his talents comes across as he plays the role of a parent who has gone through much in his life and is currently facing a midlife crisis. He supports his children in their lazy, scheming lifestyle and uses his scheming ways to forcibly join their gang. As the series progressed he became less of a father figure and more of a gang member who frequently exploits and insults his children. He has created a special place for himself in the hearts of the audience as he portrays a cunning, shrewd but loveable father who challenges and humors everything that his children do.

The show that has reached the heights of success has been blessed with a great collection of not only cast members but equally capable writers who have written the comedy series around dishonest, antagonistic and selfish characters. The series has been renewed for at least 39 additional episodes besides the 13 being developed for Season 4. It means that we will be able to watch this rib tickling comedy at least until a sixth season. Now that is what I call fantastic news as I never seem to get enough of this rib tickling comedy!

I don’t have to tell you that the series has been a huge success. You all can guess it from the popularity that it has received in the past three years. The series have had a sunny and smooth ride in its journey of more than three years. And, from the fact that, the fans have grown over the years. ‘Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia’ is one of the best comedy shows on air at this point of time. Reason behind the success of the show is none other than the way it has been written and presented. The series is generally compared to ‘Seinfeld’, ‘The Office’ and ‘South Park’. But, still it is completely different and original in its own way.

The series is liked by all because of the way it handles comedy and the way they use irony in the series. Above all the series also takes up general issues and through them provide an insight to the audiences. They don’t exactly preach through the show, but present the problems of the society with a completely different point of view, which is loved by the audiences. Above all, I guess a television series should be relevant to its audiences in order to be successful. And this series does exactly the same.

Leave aside the general audiences the series has been appreciated by the critics too. When something is appreciated by the critics we should start believing that it really is good. The critics too were of the view that the series may seem like similar plot line but still the show is completely different. The most interesting part of the series except for the situations is its irreverent, self-serving characters that are very similar to Seinfeld, but yet completely different in their own way.

Well, I know that the series is liked and watched by almost everyone, but I would still like to add that this is one of my favorite series and watch it on regular basis. I would recommend the series to all. And one more thing, once you start watching the movie I am sure you will watch the series for the rest of the seasons.
