Kaitlin was born and brought up in Tigard, Oregon. While, she was doing theater it was only then that she developed interest in acting. Following her instinct she thought of giving acting a chance and moved to Los Angeles to make a living as an actress. Over there she got a chance to work with the Sunday Company at the Ground Lings Theater. While in theatre her acting was noticed by all and there was no looking back after that. Soon afterwards she got herself the roles on shows like Drew Carey Show, Curb your Enthusiasm and Meet the Marks. The actress is most famous with her role of Dee in the hit sitcom ‘It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia’. In the series she plays sister to Dennis and also one of the four friends who together run an unsuccessful pub. The series is currently running into its fourth season and is quite a hit with the audiences.
Kaitlin is engaged to her co-star Rob McElhenny in ‘It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia’. The couple got engaged in 2007. She currently resides in Los Angeles. We have also seen her in a recurring role as Hartley Underwood, the “one-armed” neighbor in the FX series ‘The Riches’.
