If there was anyone who did not know who Rob McElhenney was, he would surely know it well enough after the latest season of ‘It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia’. While some might rubbish it as a publicity stunt, and others might commend Rob for his intense professionalism, the truth is that the actor, who famously put on 50 pounds for his role in the show, has definitely grabbed a spot for himself in the headlines!

As he has now regained his original form, we can’t wait to know what the experience was like for him, and how he feels to be back in shape. No wonder, her co-star, Rob McElhenney found her so irresistible, and ended up marrying her!

Before we get to that part of the story, let’s hear it from Kaitlin, about why she loves being a part of the show’s cast.

Saying that it is the most fun set that she has ever worked on “by far”, Kaitlin gushes about how much they make each other laugh on the show’s sets.

She goes on to say that she is very fortunate to have landed the role, which is quite understandable, considering that not only did she shoot to country-wide fame with the role, but also met her future husband on the same series.

Recalling her first date with Rob, she remembers that he asked her to go to Big Bear with him for the weekend.

Interestingly, Rob was living with Glenn Howerton at the time, and Kaitlin laughs remembering how she asked him if she could accompany him, but he refused, saying he was going alone.

She now reveals having secretly dated the actor during the show’s second season, due to the fear of it going “terribly wrong”.

God help the members of the Gang, as Mac alleges it is they, who are actually responsible for all that extra adipose!

It’s been just some days since Glenn Howerton became the father of a little baby boy, whom he has fondly named Miles Robert Howard. But that does not stop him from admitting that he is a bit gayish. Recently, during an interview, Glenn talked in detail about the sexuality of his It’s Always Sunny in Phildalephia character Dennis Reynolds, and while explaining that, he also gave us a slight idea about his own as well.

He admitted that his character in the series is ‘ambiguously gay’ like most of the people!

Elaborating on the above statement, he said that everyone falls in this spectrum of 1 to 10, where 1 means having no gay sensibilities at all, and 10 means being totally gay. And when quizzed about his own rating on the scale, he said that he recognizes a handsome man; for instance, he likes Brad Pitt in Fight Club.

He refuses to be 6 or 7 on the scale saying that those lying somewhere between that rank will be the ones having had some stuff with a guy in college but end up marrying a girl and fathering a baby; he says he is somewhere near 9 as he just appreciates fellow men.

When Glenn, in return, asked the interviewee about his ratings on the scale, the interviewee simply said that he was the ‘guy’ with whom Glenn had some ‘stuff’ back in college.

They started rejoicing moments before Mac blurted out something unpleasant, only to realize that this was the first time Mac did not have any news with him.

The group was surprised while Dennis felt they should channel their brains and energy into playing their self-created old game, Chardee MacDennis.

Dennis and Dee have been champions during all the eighteen times that the game has been played. As a result, the winning couple had earned the name ‘Golden Geese’.

In order to strike a balance between the two teams, Frank moved to Charlie and Mac’s team for them to put up a decent fight against the Golden Geese.

But Frank, on the contrary, weakens Charlie’s team further and ends up getting imprisoned in a kennel.
When released, he avenges Dennis’ insult of throwing beer at his face while in prison by gobbling down all the ingredients of the cake.

Mac and Charlie discover Dee and his partner drinking water instead of wine and conclude that their opponents had been fooling them for the last 19 games.

The game was brought to a halt and was later restarted, which saw, yet again, Dee and Dennis winning in perfect clamor and glamour.

It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia season 7 episode 8 reflects on the clash of investigation procedures, as Dennis and Charlie decide to opt for traditional methods to track down the pub’s patron, while Dee and Mac choose to stalk him online.

We, too, will watch Frank going online and doing his best to revive business at the bar, but, unfortunately, things won’t be turning up in his favor.

All ambiguities have vanished after the arrival of the baby boy in Glenn Howerton’s house. Well, we had no doubts on his sexual preferences even before the arrival of the baby. In fact, it is the character of Glenn in ‘It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia’ that compelled us to push him in a gay spectrum.

Much of the conviviality is rooted in the way really sensitive issues like trans-sexuality, abortion, and gay rights have been presented on the show.

The question of sexuality of all the characters arose, when Conan openly declared about the sexual preferences of the characters on the series.

According to him, all are dubiously gay! But Glenn made it clear that his character is away from gay interests, because he is so much involved in personal issues.

First of all, I congratulate him for becoming the proud father of a baby boy. He revealed that they were fighting like cats and dogs, while choosing a name for their boy.

After lots of discussions and debates, they managed to finally settle down with a name for their son. I’m sure Miles Robert, his son, would be happy to have such doting parents.
